First victory of the new Audi A4 DTM
Already in his third race, the new Audi A4 DTM celebrated its first victory.
During the visit of the DTM in Italy at the Adria International Raceway near Venice, Mattias Ekstrvm was the superior driver. During the thrilling qualifying, the 25-year-old Swede secured pole position, took the lead with a great start and controlled the speed during the entire race. With his second career DTM victory Ekstrvm closed the gap in the championship and is now only two points behind Christijan Albers.
